Poly's Strong Hold Mustache Wax

I was cast as Hercule Poirot in a community theater production of Murder on the Orient Express and was asked to go from the full beard I had to a waxed moustache, though they let me keep some of the beard. The result turned out to be better than I expected and I am keeping the look, even as I have finished the play.

I also note that I chose this scent, as I writing project of mine has a major character named Poly and, even if the character is female, I could resist the coincidence. It is a very good scent on its own merits.

This has the hold I was looking for and I love the fact it is available in matching scents to the oils, butters and balms.

The scent is so nice and it even lasts all day! The hold I would give 8-10. The wax practically melts between your finger and goes on very smooth. It’s not tacky at all and maybe that’s part of the problem. For a strong hold wax there needs to be some tackiness. When it dries it does firm up a bit but not to the level I would expect from a strong hold wax. I would call it a medium hold all day. For my specific stache, I would use it for more of a natural look. Pictured is the end of my first day using it. There is some minor separation but overall it held constant all day. If the tin said medium I would give it five stars for sure!
