“I have tried several beard oil brands over the years and Copper Johns continues to be the standout oil in my collection. While there are other companies that make excellent beard oils, I keep coming back to Copper Johns because of how well it performs once it’s actually in my beard. One thing I have really come to appreciate is the thicker viscosity from the higher amount of castor oil in the blend. It coats my beard well without feeling overly heavy and gives me more control during styling than most other oils I’ve used. My beard is coarse and naturally wants to do its own thing, but Copper Johns beard oil consistently helps it style easier while keeping it feeling healthy and smelling great throughout the day.The Sundance scent is definitely a hit, but what really keeps me coming back to Copper Johns is its performance. If my goal is getting my beard to look its absolute best, this is the bottle I reach for. “I have been using the hair serum, since it was introduced. Both scents are awesome. The oil seems to be a light to medium viscosity and applies easily. While I did not take a before and after picture, I will say, it helped thicken my old gray beard. What shocked me most, was what it did to my head. I had been on some medication that was causing hair loss on the crown of my head. After a few weeks I started to notice my hair was indeed growing back!! Now after at least a year, the spot is gone! You might not get the same results, but it has to be better than taking pills (that can have some not so good side effects) or getting hair transplants or plugs done. A great product, that doen't promise growth, but it worked for me!”

“I have used mustache wax from 2 other companies so far. As my handlebar is quite long now I have to graduate to a stronger product. This wax hold my curls all day in 95*, humid Florida weather. No complaints there! The only drawback to trying to apply such a stiff wax evenly is that it tends to crumble apart or clot on in certain areas. I have tried heating an end of the container w/ a hot blow dryer. I also careful comb thru the applied wax w/ my Kent comb. I’ll keep watching Copper John YouTube videos until I perfect my technique. I’m just spoiled by how easy the softer waxes are applied that come in the dial up stick form. I also wish that the scent was stronger. I first tried 1906 but could barely smell the fragrance. I returned it for Barber Shop. It is better but still too faint in my opinion. Fantastic company and I will buy again when I figure out what works for me.”

“HOW HAVE I NOT TRIED COPPER JOHN'S BUTTER YET??? This stuff is fantastic! Been a fan of their gray line oils for a year or so. Polys, Rio Blanco, Skippers, and Sundance being my favorite, in that order. Their oils are awesome on my mostly gray beard. Nourishing without being sticky, not a whole lot needed, and lasts hours and hours before having to even think about reapplying. Definitely on of my faves! Wanna try their newest scent, Barbershop, soon.But I hadn't tried any of their butter. No particular reason, just hadn't had a chance. But guys, wow. Some of the smoothest I've tried! Comes out easy, so soft, so good! Definitely buying more and keeping it in the rotation from here on out!”

The scent is 12-10.
“The scent is so nice and it even lasts all day! The hold I would give 8-10. The wax practically melts between your finger and goes on very smooth. It’s not tacky at all and maybe that’s part of the problem. For a strong hold wax there needs to be some tackiness. When it dries it does firm up a bit but not to the level I would expect from a strong hold wax. I would call it a medium hold all day. For my specific stache, I would use it for more of a natural look. Pictured is the end of my first day using it. There is some minor separation but overall it held constant all day. If the tin said medium I would give it five stars for sure!”
